Freedom and security

Even animals display a natural instinct to be free.  But then, what in the world “has so denatured man that he, the only creature really born to be free, lacks the memory of his original condition and the desire to return to it? ~ Etienne de La Boetie

Women don’t know what freedom is, hence the reason they don’t care for it. This is why men, throughout mankind, have been the only sex that fights for freedom because freedom is solely a male thing. Women don’t care about freedom because they don’t know what it is and you can’t possibly care about what you can’t comprehend.  Women don’t care about freedom they care only about security, even if that security requires freedom be relinquished.  And freedom is easily relinquished by women, often seen in the quiescent surrender of individuality to the more preferred group identity and group think that is in tuned with the female nature, because they don’t know what freedom is.  Women only care about security.  However, the security women seek is ALWAYS at the expense of men’s freedom. That security a woman seek requires the man to relinquish his freedom, his maleness.

Marriage and relationships are well designed game of chess between the sexes where the requirement and the ultimate result is the loss of man’s freedom and the gain of security by the woman.  Therefore, a man can only lose in marriage and lose he must because the moment he is engaged in a relationship or marriage with a woman her security is ensured and his freedom is forever lost.  So just like their wives, married men knows no freedom.  They may be able to tell you what freedom is but they don’t know it.  To quote Marcus, “When you gaze into the dead eyes of a man in a “successful” marriage, you see what a fate worse than death looks like.”

  1. To quote Marcus, “When you gaze into the dead eyes of a man in a “successful” marriage, you see what a fate worse than death looks like.” Excellent post with such truth, thanks.
